46. Building South East Asia’s Leading Network for Female Entrepreneurs While Going From Stuck To Unstoppable with Genecia Alluora, Founder of Soul Rich Woman

We’re so honored to welcome Genecia Alluora, Woman of Excellence Business Mentor of the Year and Founder of Soul Rich Women.

There are many words used to describe Genecia Alluora–Founder, Serial Entrepreneur, Mentor, Podcaster, Coach, and Beauty Queen. This Former Miss Singapore International, used soul and synergy to build “Soul Rich Women” the #1 Leading Female Entrepreneur Network in South East Asia, connecting over 200,000 women across the globe empowering women to succeed in life, business, and health.

Through Soul Rich Women, Soul Rich Woman Blueprint, and the Soul Rich Woman

academy, Genecia is well on her way to achieve her vision of supporting 1 million women and helping thousands of women launch their own online businesses, teaching them how to do it through her book, courses, masterclasses, and podcasts⸺not one, not two but three podcasts!!!

  1. For Women Who Love The F-Word Genecia interviews business leaders, celebrities and inspirational figures with guests including Gary Vaynerchuk, Sheryl Sandberg, Elena Cardone, Mary Buffett, Neil Patel, Kim Kiyosaki, Pia Wurtzbac, Simone Heng, Robert Kiyosaki, Anik Singal and many more.
  2. Soul Why – The Secrets of the Soul Rich Women Blueprint is a daily show and what Genecia refers to as a micro podcast, from Monday to Friday, 10 to 15 minutes long. In it she encourages her listeners to apply a money mindset.
  3. Make It Happen – 5 Minutes Daily to Go From Stuck To Unstoppable Without Changing Who You Are – Even If No One Believes In You Or Stand By You!

Why three podcasts instead of one? Well, Genecia saw that podcasts were becoming increasingly popular in Asia and Southeast Asia. She could also see how different podcasts catered to different audiences while providing the advantages of scaling, batching, and promotion (without having to do professional makeup for each episode)!

“Before we hit 200,000, we were at zero…people look at the results, but they forget how we got there,” Genecia said.

Genecia’s epic journey from six-figure debt to millionaire status in 2013, fuels her passion to support women to do the same and to own the F-word – Being fabulous, having freedom, financial independence and family. Genecia’s network is now near a quarter of a million strong. The power of her words and example is something we all need to remember:

“Alone we are strong, together we are UNSTOPPABLE.”

says Genecia Alluora.

But for Genecia, she had to first go through the highs and lows of supporting herself through school and being a business owner herself and giving herself a second chance.

That first pot of gold came when Genecia invested in a cafe retail chain with four other partners. It was the Starbucks in Southeast Asia with a presence in 3 countries with 18 franchisees she helped take public, 4 years after her launch.

She was the winner of 2 awards in 2014, The ‘Franchisee and Franchisor of The Year – Runner Up’ by the Franchise and Licensing Association in Singapore.

Since then, Genecia’s awards have only multiplied – Southeast Asia Woman of Excellence 2010, International Progressive Women 2019 and Noble Queen Most Prominent Women Empowerment in 2020.

This occupational therapist turned business mogul, credits exceptional mentors, and the humbling experience of learning on the job and literally knocking on doors during the pageant to get sponsorship as keys to her success.

“From having nothing to being a winner on stage really transformed my life,”

Genecia told us In The Suite.

In this amazing episode, we ride on Genecia’s coattails as she takes us on the highs and the lows of her career. Don’t miss Genecia’s three cornerstone pieces of advice to help you go from stuck to unstoppable:

  1. Turn your mess into your message. This sage advice comes directly through Genecia’s Mom Carol, her pillar of support. After years of being bullied in school, handling criticism and self-doubt, and getting stuck, Genecia’s Mom encouraged her to turn her situation around, take action, and to view problems as opportunities to excel.
  2. Find a Mentor. Short cut your success. Genecia’s mentor played a major role in her life. A mentor can guide you, show you your blind spots, and teach you what you don’t know. Genecia has three important tips when finding your ideal mentor: “Number one, you must look for someone who has the results that you want,” says Genecia. “Number two, you must be open to receive and be open to listen.” Really listen with your soul. “Number three, you can’t expect your mentor to swim the swim for you.”
  3. Love your customers, more than you love your product. Genecia has valuable advice for starting your own platform or something new: Don’t just create it because you want it or like it. Instead, ask yourself: Does it serve a purpose and allow someone else to benefit on the other side.
